Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn)

I am sorry for such a long time between posts. Since coming to South East Asia, I have been jumping on tours or traveling most of the time. The heat also takes a lot out of me. I want to do as much as I can while I am here, but after being out in 100+ degree heat, I am finished for the day because of how nauseous I feel. Plus my internet hasn’t been great in places.

Wat Arun Ratchawararam Ratchawaramahawihan is a temple in Bankok on the river Chao Phraya.

The main Pagoda is 70 meters tall. The temple derives its name from the Hindu god Aruṇa, often personified as the radiations of the rising sun

This was the 2nd part of the tour. After leaving Wat Pho, we walked to a ferry and took it across the Chao Phraya River to the west Bank.
