Seoul

After Busan, I took an express train into Seoul.

It was a good ride, only a few hours, and then I had to figure out the subway lines in Seoul to get to my hotel.

I found a DMZ tour and woke up insanely early to get an hour subway ride to the pickup point.

Incheon , outside Seoul, 30 minutes from the airport.
Subway line into Seoul
Train shot up so N. Korea couldn’t use it.
Place with carved scenes of North Korea so family can visit as close to their ancestors’ lands as they can to pray and remember.
Gondola ride into DMZ zone to visit a museum.
Cherry blossom and barbed wire.
Not a real line. Closest I was allowed to get was 100 meters, 200 meters underground.
I was almost at the lake in the upper right. That is a part of the river separating the DMZ.

N. Korea guard tower. Not bad for camera zoom.
Old cooperative factory between the two countries when they tried to open trade. The tall building was bombed by N.K. leaders sister.
North Korean city.

That’s one place I would like to visit. Were you able to see and Karate schools there? I would like to see how they train
