Going back to catch up

So this morning, I left the crappy hotel and took the train back to where Temple 81 was. While waiting on a bus to get me closer, I was going to take a cab up to the top and walk over to Temple 82. Another Ohenro was on the bus, and I felt bad about trying to call a taxi and just walked up with them.

It was a nice trip. She is from Taiwan, and we got Oranges from a woman we passed. I am happy to have met her, and we are going to keep in touch.

Don’t go chasing waterfalls

Temple 81 – Shiromineji. In 815 Kūkai buried a jewel at the summit of Mt. Shiromine (336 meters) dug a well and prayed for the salvation of all living beings. Later, Chishō Daishi saw the spiritual light from the jewel carved a statue and founded the temple.
