Ok, so I hit temple 76 yesterday, I was tired of posting, so I put it off to today. I stayed in a place called mi casa su casa. It was a bunk room, it was nice and comfortable and the woman who ran it was amazing.
So Temple 76 – Konzōji was in a suburban neighborhood. Built in 774 but was destroyed in the 16th century and rebuilt between 1624 – 1644.

I guess I didn’t get many pictures from here. It was a nice relaxing temple.
I woke up this morning and walked to Temple 77 – Dōryūji. Founded in 749, Wake no Michitaka accidentally shot a nurse with an arrow and, in his grief, carved a statue of Yakushi Nyorai. Kūkai came along and carved a larger statue and placed the smaller one inside.

The days are wearing on me. My back hurts earlier and earlier each day. I did walk 14 miles yesterday, so that might have done it.
I started walking to Temple 78 and just couldn’t do it. My back hurt me so much that I called a cab through an app I downloaded.
I’m only taking my day pack out tomorrow. So that should help.
