It was a dark and stormy day

Today started off with me walking from my hotel to Temple 59 – Kokubunji. It was cold, windy and rainy.

I passed by Imabari castle (picture from the previous day) and had to stop in a drug store to buy safety pins to fix my big hat. The wind was so bad that it broke the small copper wire holding the head rest to the hat. My hat also ended up in someone’s muddy field.

I made it to Temple 59. It was mostly flat with a slight uphill at the end.

I wish I had read more about it before I went, but I had my rain cover over my bag, but there is a statue you can shake its hand it ask for a wish, I must have missed the statue too. I have only been taking pictures of statues that look different than the ones I have already seen previously.
