Fortuitous meetings

I started off the dat grabbing a taxi back to near where I left off Sunday.

I went to Temple 52 – Taisanji. There, I met a couple from Singapore who gifted me a Mala (prayer beads)

I met a man from Taiwan who thought I was in my 20s, and we ended up spending the day together.  He was driving the route and offered to take me with him.

Main hall was built in 1305 and is designated a national treasure.

We then went to Temple 53 – Enmyōji.

This one was a suburban temple, very small. Built in the 8th century, but moved to its present location 1633.
