When posting a lot of pictures,  the app I am using messes up, so on busy days, I will need to break up my accounting.

We drove to Temple 54, Enmeiji. This temple prospered as a temple for scholarly learning.

I thought my hotel was close, and I started walking from here. It turns out my hotel was closer to Temple 55 – Nankōbō. The initial temple was destroyed during World War 2.

They were throwing mochi and candy to the crowd. This is a kitsune (fox) temple, similar to one’s found in Kyoto.

I met up with my friend from Taiwan here again, and as I was walking to my hotel, he asked if I wanted to continue onto the next 3 with him, and he would bring me back.

It was nice having company. He was a tour guide for Chinese and Singapore citizens.  He spent time on tours in the US and Europe. Currently retired and traveling.
