So today, most of the temples were within a few km of each other. I stayed at a place right at Temple 13 – Dainichiji, I woke up ate and went across the street. That was the easiest part of the day.

I found that using my walking stick to put in the picture allows me to show the next temple so I can show a break in what I am doing and where I am.
Temple 14 – Jōrakuji, was about 2.5km away, I don’t know what that is in miles, but it might be 37,00 elephants long? It was an ok walk until you got to the parking lot. The angle of the parking lot had to have been over 45 degrees, but it was short.

Temple 15 – Kokubunji, was only another km. Not a bad walk. It was small and in the middle of town.

Temple 16 – Kannonji was the longest walk I had of the day except trying to find food.

My hotel was right down the street. The people who run it are amazing. She made calls and helped me get 3 days of bookings ahead and told me to call or email if I needed any help along the way or any calls I needed to be made. 5 out of 5 for Hotel R. Urokorou. Best pillow I’ve had all trip so far. I slept maybe 7 hours instead of 4-5.

I dropped my bag off and went to temple 17 – Idoji.

On the way back, I tried to find some ramen to eat since I finished early. I went to the place recommended, and there was a line 10 deep outside. I just walked around for a bit, and found another shop, had a little bit of trouble understanding, because my phone was near 0 and my translator wasn’t working with the photo option. Decent ramen place though.
I met an engineering student who bought me a green tea. Super nice guy. Gave him a Gritty sticker with my Instagram and webpage on it. Hope to see his posts and keep in touch.
Overall, I think it was 7 miles long, but turned into 10 with my food excursion.
