So the day started off well. I went to temples 2-6. And that 6th one was a temple too far.
Temple 2 and 3 were a good walk. I did pack too much, and it is taking a toll on my back and legs, but I stop and take a lot of breaks.

Temple 4 was all uphill, and I had to detour around construction, making it longer. That is where everything started to hurt.
Temple 4 was the nicest of them all so far. Great signage to tell you where you were and has it in multiple languages and qr codes.
I met a farmer along the way. And he kept me company for a little bit of the walk and gave me a bag of food and drink, but some of it I couldn’t take, so I kept the green tea and thanked him for keeping me company on my journey.

Temple 5 was under construction in the main temple but had some great statues.

At this point, I was tired but still had several hours until check in at my Henro house, which was 200 feet from temple 5 gate. So I stopped in and asked if I could just leave my bag and head to Temple 6 and come back. They allowed me to drop my big bag and I just took my day pack that I keep my electronics and medicine in.
Stopped at 7-11 along the way and had one of their famous egg salad sandwiches and continued on.
I made it to 6 and was exhausted. I don’t know if I took any pictures of it, so I will stop in this morning and take some on my way to temple 7.
The walking stick is something you drop in a holder at the temple so you can walk around. Out of 6 temples, I forgot it at 3 of them. So, between missing temple 3 and having to go back for my staff, I walked more than I should have.
After Temple 6, I was just too tired and tried calling a cab or Uber, but no luck. I did find a cab company about 10 minutes walk away and walked to their dispatch center and asked for a ride . They were great and took me back to Temple 5. A 75-minute walk turned into a 5 minute taxi ride.
Today should be an easy day. I plan on taking a bus back up to Temple 6 since I already walked it, and my next henro house is going to pick up my main bag, so less weight and less walking today.
